Beginning September 1, 2018, all matters of application for the JPK’s Accreditation Personnel Certification Certificate or PPKSPP summary will be made ONLINE via the URL https://www.skkm.gov.my/.
Here are some things to keep in mind for reviewing application status:
i. Applicants can check the status of applications that have been ‘submitted’ online through SKKM in the ‘Personnel Job Application Status’ section. A detailed review of the application status can also be found under ‘Application Slip’.
ii. Status of the application showing ‘In progress’ indicates that the application is still pending the decision of the JKT II Meeting which is held once a month.
iii. Status of the application showing Pass, Conditional or Failure indicates that the results of the formal JKT II Meeting have been issued and the certificate can be printed directly online.
iv. Personnel can also review records of applications for valid personnel who are still valid in the ‘Existing Personnel’ section.
v. To review the entire record of personnel certification is not complete as the data migration process is still ongoing.
i. They are not eligible to be appointed as PP / PPD for SKM Level 1, 2 and 3 programs.
ii. For Diploma holders and have two (2) years of work experience in related fields are eligible to be appointed as PP / PPD SKM Level 4 program only
iii. For Degree holders and have two (2) years of work experience in related fields are eligible to be appointed as PP / PPD SKM Level 4 & 5 program only.
i. They are eligible to be appointed as PP / PPD for SKM Level 1, 2 and 3 programs conditionally for 2 years.
ii. Within 2 years condition PP / PPD is required to complete SKM Level 3 by PPT.
iii. After the expiration of the period if PP / PPD has not passed SKM Level 3 by PPT, then their renewal application will fail.
Yes, the certification letter (PPKSPP) of PP and PPD can be issued simultaneously to personnel who meet the conditions and criteria for appointment.
However, PB must appoint only one person for one position at a time and subject to the conditions and rules of accreditation set by the Malaysian Skills Certification System.
Personnel are not eligible to be appointed as SLDN Instructors because:
- Has not attended SLDN Induction Course
- Does not have any relevant skills qualifications.
Not all Accreditation Personnel are required to have a VTO. The following personnel are required to have a certificate of teaching technique VTO (I-031-3)
i. PP for all programs;
ii. PP for VTO program (I-031-3) @ previously known as PP-PLV; and
iii. PPD for VTO program (I-031-3) @ previously known as PPD-PLV.
